Vintage Drawers with Old Books Look

Hello my lovely friends over there.
I am truly honored to receive the opportunity to be Guest Designer at
with  Shabby Chic or Vintage theme.
This is my first time to be Guest Designer.

I got inspiration from old books such as Memories, Dreams, Reflections by CG Jung, so I chose a vintage theme.

I made the drawers resembles a stack of books.
I made book cover from hardpaper, then layered it with white concord paper. I use a cutter knife to deliberately damage the little parts book cover. And I gave the color worn with walnut stain Distress Ink.

Embellishment that I used :
Doily Paper
Cheese Clotch
Root Rope
Half Pearl
Mulberry Paper Flower
Handmade Flower

Some stuff that I used :
Magnolia "Indian Tilda" rubber stamp from "Once Upon A Time Collection 2013"
Marianne Dies - Clocks
Memory Box Die - Vintage Birdcage
Magnolia Doohickey Cutting Dies - Lovely Fence
Martha Steward Doily Lace Edge Punch
Silhouette Cameo Machine

Distress Ink that I used for coloring Indian Tilda :
Skin : Vintage Photo
Cheek : Aged Mahogany
Hair : Antique Linen and Walnut Stain
Clotch : Broken China
Bow : Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo

This is the right side of the drawers.

And this is the left side of the drawers.
Special thanks to Bastel-Traum that already give me this opportunity.
Thank you for stopping on my blog.
I hope I can inspire you.

Hugs,
Dian
